Textile conservator Susan Jerome presents an illustrated lecture about the history of handmade lace and the development of the machine-made lace industry. Learn how to properly care for and store your heirloom lace, and bring an item from your own collection to learn about its age and origin. Lace items from the museum collection will be on display.
